Conference Location & Accommodations
All sessions and meals will be held at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Kingsmill Resort sits within a large residential planned community on a portion of the Kingsmill Plantation, established in the late 17th century. The resort’s Plantation Golf Course is routed along what was once the original plantation, and other resort properties and features are similarly located on plantation grounds. The resort offers three 18-hole golf courses, tennis courts, a spa, walking trails, and a marina on the James River.
Attendees are individually responsible for room reservations, which are not included in the conference registration fee. Note that the Kingsmill charges a daily Resort Fee of US$29 per day.

The discounted room cost for conference attendees is US$229. Hotel room rates are subject to the prevailing Virginia State sales tax (7%), local sales tax (5%) and Occupancy Tax ($2/night). Taxes may change, and will be charged at the rates in effect at the time of check-out. Note that the Kingsmill charges a daily Resort Fee of US$29 per night.
The deadline for hotel reservations at the discounted room rate is September 26, 2026. Hotel reservations after the deadline date can only be made subject to availability. Attendees are individually responsible for room reservations, which are not included in the conference registration fee. Check-in is 4:00pm, and check-out is 11:00am. Please speak to the hotel front desk about storing bags prior to check in and after check out. Room reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card – see the disclaimer when following the hotel reservations link above. The hotel requires a major credit card or bank-issued debit card upon check in as an authorization for payment of the room and/or incidentals. Please talk directly with Kingsmill about cancellations and other reservation policies . Should your flight arrive early or leave late, please contact the hotel directly to inquire about flexible check-in/check-out times. Transportation
Transportation to the Kingsmill Resort is the attendee’s responsibility. The venue is located approximately 160 miles southeast of Washington, D.C., 50 miles southeast of Richmond, Virginia, and approximately 400 miles south of New York, New York. The Richmond International Airport is located 50 miles to the west, the Newport News International Airport is 17 miles to the southeast, while the Norfolk International Airport is 45 miles to the southeast.
The Patriot Shuttle operates shuttle services to/from all three regional airports to Kingsmill, including Richmond, Newport News, and Norfolk. Amtrak’s Williamsburg Station provides convenient service from major East Coast cities and is located a short distance from Kingsmill. The Patriot Shuttle offers a discount on Amtrak, and transportation to/from the station, as well as general transportation in the Williamsburg area.
Kingsmill offers complementary self-parking for resort guests. Note that you will need to pass a gate station to enter the resort.
