Conference Registration

Registration Deadline

5:00pm EST on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Late and on-site registration is available ONLY by special arrangement

Payment Deadline 5:00pm EST on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Unpaid registrations will be cancelled at that time, unless a special arrangement has been made with the Council
Register to Attend Please complete the online registration form. Alternatively, complete the printable registration form and email the form directly to the Council
Payment by Credit Card After receiving your registration, the US-Taiwan Business Council will confirm your registration options and appropriate fees, and will email you instructions on how to securely make the registration fee payment online with a credit card. Once your payment has been received, you will then get a final registration confirmation and paid receipt in an email from the Council. (For government and company cards with restrictions, please arrange for card authorization prior to submitting your online payment.)
Payment by Check

You can submit your registration online and then mail in your check. Checks are due within 7 business days of registering online. Alternatively, please complete the printable registration form and mail it with your check made payable to the US-Taiwan Business Council to:

Cancellations/Transfers All cancellations and transfers must be made in writing. Registration transfers will take effect within two business days of the written notice. Send cancellations/transfers by mail to the US-Taiwan Business Council or by e-mail to Council@us-taiwan.org. Written cancellations received by 5:00pm EST on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 will be refunded less a 10% processing fee. We regret that no refunds can be made after that date, as attendees are included in our venue guarantees by then.

Registration Rates

Sponsor/Gov. Rate (US$650)

To qualify for this rate, attendees must be directly employed by:

  • Companies sponsoring the US-Taiwan Defense Industry Conference this year
  •  A branch of the U.S. government or military
  •  A branch of the Taiwan government or military
Non-Sponsor Rate (US$800)

This rate is intended for participants who are employed by:

  • For-profit businesses that are not sponsors of the event (members & non-members)
  • Government and independent contractors
  • State-owned enterprises
Academic & NGO Rate (US$295)

To qualify for this rate, attendees must be directly employed by:

  • A private non-profit organization
  • A non-government organization
  • An academic institution
Spouse/Partner Rate (US$250)

To qualify for this rate, participants must be:

  • The Spouse/Partner of a registered Attendee. Note that paid spouses/partners do not attend the sessions. This rate is intended for non-attendees who only participate in meals.
Speakers/Moderators (US$0)
  • Speakers/Moderators receive complimentary registrations. Please complete a registration form so that we can plan for your attendance at meals and other sessions.

 

Hotel Reservations

Hotel Reservations Make online hotel reservations by visiting the Williamsburg Lodge reservation system set up specifically for this event. If you contact the Williamsbug Lodge separately, general phone number (855) 294-5683, please be sure to mention that you have a group rate with the US-Taiwan Defense Industry Conference/US-Taiwan Business Council.

Hotel Payment Guarantees It is necessary to guarantee the room to a credit card. Please talk directly with the Williamsburg Lodge about cancellations and other reservation policies. Speak directly with the hotel to make adjustments to your hotel reservation. Should your flight arrive early or leave late, please contact the hotel directly to inquire about flexible check-in/check-out times. If you have any questions about your room reservation at the Williamsburg Lodge, please contact the group reservations office at (800) 261-9530 (8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday).

 

The Conference

Conference Check-in Desk Before being admitted to any conference event, participants must visit the Council’s Check-in desk to receive their name badge. Check the final registration confirmation email for details.
Conference Materials Participants must present a photo ID or a business card to receive their name badge and conference materials.
Name Badges Name badges (including Spouse/Partner name badges) must be worn at all times while attending conference events.
Dress-code Business attire for sessions and meals on Monday and Tuesday. The Sunday Welcome Reception is more casual.
COVID-19 Vaccination before arrival is strongly recommended. Mask wearing is up to the individual attendees. We are following the lead of the venue when it comes to COVID-19 precautions.
Code of Conduct The US-Taiwan Business Council is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment for our staff, interns, and all participants in Council programming and activities. USTBC has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment, discriminatory harassment, sexual harassment, or abuse of authority at events, meetings, delegation trips, or other activities.
