Conference Location & Accommodations

All sessions and meals will be held at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland. This scenic resort in tranquil central Maryland is located north of Washington, D.C. and west of Baltimore. It is surrounded by 1,000 acres and immaculate fairways, with a quiet charm and an inviting ambiance. The resort is located six miles from Main Street in historic Ellicott City and is nestled in the scenic hills of Patapsco State Park. The Turf Valley Towne Square shopping center is accessible through the back entrance of the resort – a short drive or scenic walk.

Attendees are individually responsible for room reservations, which are not included in the conference registration fee.

The discounted room cost for conference attendees is US$149. Hotel room rates are subject to the prevailing Maryland State sales tax (6%) and Howard County room tax (7%). Taxes may change, and will be charged at the rates in effect at the time of check-out.

The deadline for hotel reservations at the discounted rate is September 25, 2025. Hotel reservations after the deadline date can only be made subject to availability. Attendees are individually responsible for room reservations, which are not included in the conference registration fee. Check-in is 4:00pm, and check-out is 11:00am. If necessary, please speak to the hotel front desk about storing bags prior to check in and after check out. Room reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Turf Valley Resort requires a major credit card or bank-issued debit card upon check in as an authorization for payment of the room and incidentals. Please talk directly with Turf Valley Resort about cancellations and other reservation policies. Speak directly with the hotel to make adjustments to your hotel reservation. Should your flight arrive early or leave late, please contact the hotel directly to inquire about flexible check-in/check-out times. Early check-in at Turf Valley Resort is subject to availability and a $50 fee.

Transportation

Transportation to the Turf Valley Resort is the attendee’s responsibility. The hotel is located approximately 44 miles north of Washington, D.C., 17 miles west of Baltimore, Maryland, and approximately 220 miles south of New York, New York.

Shuttle service is quick and convenient from the nearby major airports. Companies like GO The Airport Shuttle and Super Shuttle operate shuttle services to/from all three airports to Turf Valley Resort. From Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) it’s ~30 minutes and ~$US100. From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) shuttle service is ~1 hour and ~$US180. From Dulles International Airport (IAD), shuttle service is ~1.5 hours and ~$US250. Uber and Lyft are also available options for transportation.
